Pro Quote Redesign
The Pro (B2B) business ran on quotes - and the platform couldn't actually build one. I led the end-to-end redesign of quoting across Salesforce Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds plus the Commerce Cloud storefront: quote creation, bulk pricing, and a direct quote-to-checkout path. Launched August 2026 as a flagship revenue initiative.
Scope: a single quoting experience spanning four platforms - designed for both sales reps and self-service customers, replacing a legacy system the business case targeted for 100% bug elimination.
The problem
The site had a "Quote" button - but it was a shopping list wearing a quote's name tag. Customers could collect items and nothing more: no submitting the quote, no review and price adjustment on our side, no converting it to an order. Bulk pricing meant manual price adjustments for every deal, and an accepted quote still had to be re-keyed by hand as an order. The entire quote lifecycle - the thing the B2B business runs on - happened outside the platform, in email threads and phone calls, adding delay, rework, and quote-related service volume at every step.
What I did
- Designed the actual quote lifecycle - submit, review, adjust, accept, purchase - replacing a dead-end list with a real workflow across every system it touched.
- Designed for two audiences at once - sales reps working inside Salesforce and Pro customers who needed true self-service quote creation for the first time.
- Solved bulk pricing in the flow - price adjustments became part of the quoting experience instead of a manual back-office step.
- Closed the loop to revenue - quote-to-cart conversion means an accepted quote becomes a checkout, not a phone call and a re-keyed order.
- Carried it across platform seams - one coherent experience over Salesforce Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds and the SFCC storefront, shipped with engineering through launch.
Why it matters
This was zero-to-one work inside an enterprise stack: not optimizing an existing funnel, but giving a revenue channel its core workflow. The business case was built on rep productivity, higher quote conversion, reduced rework, and eliminating an entire class of legacy bugs - and it shipped. Post-launch performance data is accruing now; I'm happy to talk through it as it matures.
Detailed design artifacts (flows, comps, platform architecture) are employer work product - I walk through them in a private review.
